Migrantools video tutorials are free and aimed at those who want to learn Italian, find their way around the world of work, the healthcare system, home management and digital services.
How Migrantools' inclusion video tutorials are created
The Migrantools video tutorials are based on the field experience of colleagues at Arca di Noè and ASP Città di Bologna. Teachers and staff with expertise in teaching Italian as a second language edit the content (which is accurate and verified by qualified sources) to make it accessible and understandable. In this way, we create tools to support people with a migrant background in learning italian and independently acquiring useful information that is relevant to their everyday lives.
The idea took its first steps in response to the limitations imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic, finding new ways to meet the needs of asylum seekers, refugees and people with a migrant background through digital tools.
